30DP, Day 9 (Mel)

1. The delight of little ones in even the smallest pleasures. I'm thankful for the way a friend's little guy brought laughter into a stressful day.

2. These wise words: "The reason we struggle with insecurity is because we compare our behind-the-scenes with everyone else's highlight reel." (Steven Furtick) They came into my mind at a moment when I was feeling worried and anxious for that very reason, then were posted by my sister later on facebook. I need this reminder as I head into my job!

3. Being able to make my mom laugh until she cried in the midst of a very stressful time for her.

4. My sister's clearheadedness about a difficult decision.

5. Mitch's support and attempts to be helpful in the midst of stress.

6. Safety for Maren during a fall down the stairs.

7. A cheque in the mail. Just lovely. (^_^)

8. Watching Malcolm imagine and play and create. He's constantly manufacturing, and it's awesome.

9. A challenging, absorbing, and really good book. Maus is a real work of art that adds a valuable voice to Holocaust literature.
